INSCULPT Chair / For men
For men

Men have a pelvic floor too

After-dribble, frequent toilet trips and a weak stream are more common than most people think. The muscle behind it can be trained, and you do it fully clothed.

A subject few talk about

You don't have to explain yourself

Most men have never heard the words pelvic floor until something starts to go wrong. And it is rarely something you bring up with your mates.

The therapist has met many men with the same questions as you. You share what you want to, sit down in the chair and keep your clothes on.

Bladder control

You know where every toilet is

If you need to go often, have a weak stream or feel unsure during long meetings and journeys, a weak pelvic floor may be part of the explanation.

The bladder control programme trains the muscles that help you hold on.

After-dribble

A few more drops come out

After-dribble is common, especially with age. The pelvic floor muscles help control how well you empty.

A stronger sphincter muscle can mean less after-dribble. There is a separate programme for exactly that.

Prostate health and after surgery

The muscle around the prostate and urethra

The prostate health programme trains the muscles around the prostate and urethra.

If you have had surgery, for example on the prostate, the chair can complement your Kegel exercises once your doctor has given the go-ahead.

If your symptoms are new or severe, talk to your doctor first.

Sexual function

The pelvic floor affects erection and control

The same muscles that keep you dry are involved when you have sex. A stronger pelvic floor can help both erection and control.

There is a separate programme for sexual function. The therapist chooses a programme based on what you want to improve.

Sound familiar?

More common than you think

Many men recognise at least one of these. It can be trained.

  • After the toiletIt dribbles even though you have shaken off.
  • NightYou get up several times to pee.
  • EverydayYou plan your day around where the toilets are.
  • StreamYour stream is weaker than it used to be.
  • ExerciseYou leak a little during heavy lifting.
  • IntimacyErection or control is not what it was.

If your symptoms are severe, painful or have changed suddenly, talk to your doctor first.

Common questions

What men ask most often

Is this really for men?

Yes. The chair has six programmes for men, including bladder control, after-dribble and prostate health.

Do I need to undress?

No, you stay fully clothed. Just put aside your phone, watch and any metal objects in your pockets.

Does it hurt?

No. It tingles and you feel strong contractions. The therapist increases the intensity step by step and lowers it straight away if it feels uncomfortable.

Can I be treated after prostate surgery?

Yes, once your doctor has given the go-ahead. If you have metal implants near the pelvis or another contraindication, it is not possible.

How many treatments do I need?

A typical course is 10 treatments, twice a week. After that, maintenance once or twice a month is enough.

Where can I get the treatment?

At more than 180 clinics in Sweden and Norway. Search for your town in the clinic finder and book directly with the clinic.
